I have been tutoring physics, math, and SAT/ACT math successfully for major educational firms, such as Varsity Tutors, Tutor Doctor, and Wyzant. I have also participated in the STEP program through St. John's University, in which I gave physics presentations to high school students. I scored 720 on the math section of the SAT, with an overall score of 2030. I also scored the highest in my school on the Specialized High School Admissions Test, qualifying for Stuyvesant but electing to attend Bronx Science. I have chosen tutoring as my profession because I like the one-on-one approach to teaching, and I am very effective in this mode. I am patient, thorough, and resourceful, explaining concepts in many different ways until the student understands. I love what I do, and hope to communicate this enthusiasm in my tutoring sessions.
