I love tutoring, and I pride myself on my determination and my ability to communicate effectively. I have five years of experience tutoring primarily math and biology. I worked with everyone from college students to elementary school students. I'm also certified as a tutor, and my goal is to help students understand these topics at a logical level. Ultimately students need to have a solid comprehension of math and science to be able to build on their knowledge and face new and more complex subjects in these disciplines later on. When I work with students, I start by assessing where the student is at currently in their understanding of the subject. I help them build from there, presenting lesson plans, resources, and practice problems together so student get a better understanding overall. I believe that every student can become successful in learning biology and math, and it's my goal to help you get there. In addition to beginning and advanced math and biology courses, I can also help students prepare for standardized exams like the MCAT and LSAT. In my free time, I enjoy reading, volunteering, and riding my bike.
