Private tutor in East New York, NY
Education
University of Vermont - BA, Biology
Experience
I attended the University of Vermont, where I gained my bachelor's degree in Biology and minored in Chemistry. While in undergrad, I volunteered as a tutor in Biology at the university, and I also worked as a TA for an intro Biology lab class. I have a great passion for Science and Mathematics, and I love to teach others in those subjects. I empathize with students and their difficulties because I've experienced challenges in my coursework, as well. Consequently, I've come up with a lot of helpful strategies to improve my own work, and I am happy to share them with those I tutor. I can work with students in a number of Math and Science-related areas, including Algebra (Lower Level and College Level), Elementary Math, Trigonometry, Genetics, Physiology, Anatomy, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, etc. In my spare time, I like baseball, being outside, talking about science, cooking, jogging, and spending time with my family and friends. I love to jog, hike, and try new foods. I'm currently located in Whitestone, New York, and I love living in the city.
