I received my undergraduate degree in economics from Baruch College and am pursuing my graduate degree in applied mathematics from Queen's College with an ultimate goal of earning a doctorate in economics. It is my dream to become a college professor. This love of teaching began as I tutored my classmates. I realized that true mastery of a subject is not achieved when one is able to do well on a single exam or course but by developing a level of understanding that allows one to teach others. I tutor a wide range of courses in a variety of fields, including algebra 1 & 2, calculus 1-3, pre-calculus, pre-algebra, business, differential equations, science, elementary math, English, Spanish 1-4, languages, trigonometry, high school math, physics, economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, reading, writing, arithmetic, multivariable calculus, and public speaking. I also tutor students in a range of related AP and IB courses. I am eager to work with dedicated students who want to improve their understanding of a subject. It is important that each student have faith in their own ability and the necessary dedication to put in the time required to experience results. I work with students individually so that I am able to fully understand their learning style, academic difficulties, and strengths in order to create customized lesson plans to help them achieve their academic potential.
