Experience

I earned a bachelor's degree from Hofstra University's Honors College where I studied dance, math, and engineering. I consistently made the dean's list and graduated with latin honors. While at Hofstra, I worked as a peer teacher and math tutor, taught dance classes and piano lessons. I love learning, and I love helping students feel empowered to learn and think. As someone naturally inclined to math, I can easily find logical pathways towards a solution. Whether the problem be finding instantaneous rate of change or choosing a word's proper part of speech, I can help students formulate a thinking process in order to understand why a certain answer is correct and eventually arrive to these conclusions on their own. I am also a dancer and creative thinker so I can design multiple approaches to learning to personalize lessons to the individual student's learning styles.
