I'm a tutor who is based out of New York City, where I enjoy reading, gymnastics, and watching movies when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in physics from CUNY Hunter College. As a tutor, I work primarily with students on their math, physics, and standardized test preparation. I'm a former rhythmic gymnastics trainer for young girls. I also have experience working as a private tutor. Both of these experiences have allowed me to develop a deep passion for helping others. I'm especially passionate about tutoring math and physics, because I've witnessed the effect that a bad math or physics teacher can have on a student trying to master the subjects. Many students find math and physics to be scary, but I don't think they are. To me, the subjects are like learning a new language, one that allows us to communicate with the world around us in new and exciting ways. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when I help a student finally achieve their breakthrough moment on a difficult subject. I strive to provide each of my students with an individualized lesson plan that is targeted to address the specific problems that they're experiencing. In this way, my lessons allow my students to get the most out of the time they put in to studying math or physics. I look forward to working with you.
