Hobbies
Hello! I graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in Art History, so I am an avid museum and gallery attender. I try to frequent as many exhibitions and shows as possible, because I always love to learn about new artists. I am deeply passionate about the arts and enjoy especially interpreting it. My favorite class that I look in college was a course called Interpreting Art, which was essentially a precursor to my Senior Thesis. For my thesis, I wrote a 30-page paper about the Japanese Contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama, which I received an A for. I even painted my graduation cap imitating a Mondrian modern art painting, which my professors all loved! In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and documentaries. Some of my favorite directors are Wes Anderson, Charlie Kaufman, and Quentin Tarantino. After graduating, I have started a project to watch every Palme d'Or winner from the Cannes Film Festival. I also like to exercise and play many sports. I ran my first half-marathon last March, which was a great accomplishment for me (although my legs felt like Jell-O for several days afterwards)! During the summer I play tennis with my younger brother quite often, and go golfing with my dad on the weekends. I used to snowboard and ski every winter, but I unfortunately tore my ACL several years ago, and haven't been back on the slopes since. I am especially a huge music person, and was involved with my university's radio station for three years and on the executive board for two of those three years. I am a firm believer that you are what you listen to, and am always interested to know what people's favorite musical choices are. I enjoy making playlists for my friends and recommending artists to listen to or see live, so if you ever want a suggestion, I will be more than happy to provide one!
